Aaron Rodgers unveils his Halloween costume that has been ‘a year in the making’

Although we’re all happy about Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers’ long hair, he’s grown it for a reason.

During an episode in late September of “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers laid out his plan.

“… This has been a year along the way, for my costume,” Rodgers said. “I do not want to give it away. It’s someone who’s my hero who has long hair.”

On former Halloween, the reigning NFL MVP has gone as the title character from the Wes Anderson movie “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” and Uncle Rico from the movie “Napoleon Dynamite”. There are not many clues to follow. The Green Bay Press Gazette combed social media for its own qualifying guesses, which included The Dude from “The Big Lebowski” and Scott Stapp from the band Creed.

Well, the wait is over. Saturday night, Rodgers, who helped the Arizona Cardinals make their first loss of the season, unveiled his Halloween costume. He wants trick-or-treating like John Wick, Keanu Reeves’ character from the “John Wick” movie series.

Rodgers also tagged Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari as the dog pictured.
