Blade Air Mobility Inc. has struck a partnership with JetBlue Airways Corp. to integrate Blade’s airport service into JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program through 2023.
Blade, which provides air transportation alternatives for heavily trafficked ground routes, said it will add an additional route of continuous daily service between its lounge at East 34th Street in Manhattan and John F. Kennedy International Airport beginning on June 27.
Blade said it will also introduce additional flights to complement JetBlue’s growing international schedule operating out of JFK airport.
“We know the JetBlue journey starts long before our customers step aboard one of our flights, which is why we are making more of the entire travel experience even easier and even more rewarding,” JetBlue Vice President of Loyalty and Partnerships Chris Buckner said.
Blade President Melissa Tomkiel said the company has ramped up its airport service to six days a week and up to thirteen hours a day in New York City.
