Canberra’s commercial food and coffee waste is fermented for plant fertilizer by two friends – Saturday breakfast

When was the last time you fertilized your plants or garden?

How would you feel about treating your beloved plants and soil with a substance created from salvaged and recycled commercial food waste?

Friends Josie Grenfell from Fadden in ACT and Annabel Schweiger from Little Burra in New South Wales launched a business start-up called Food2Soil in 2020.

ABC Canberra’s Adrienne Francis visited Josie and Annabel at Fadden to learn more about how and why they create a biological fertilizer by fermenting commercial food waste.
