Cyberpunk 2077 bug fixes and free DLC delayed until 2022

Cyberpunk 2077’s updated roadmap is pushing the free DLC update and overall game enhancements back to 2022. The fixes and game updates were supposed to be released before the end of 2021, but Project CD Red focuses on “priorities for major fixes and updates.”

The statement issued by the development team did not go into detail about what the exact corrections would be. However, CD Project Red showed a detailed look at the game’s roadmap in an image that showed that all “updates, enhancements and free DLCs” will be released in 2022. A frequently asked question for the statement is:

Question: You have said that there would be free DLC for the game in ‘early 2021’, will this be affected by improvements?

A: We are still planning to release free DLC for the game, just like with The Witcher 3. However, we have decided that our priority is to work on the most important fixes and updates. So far, we’ve released the first DLC package with Patch 1.3, and we’ll be releasing more in the future – we’ll have more to say in the coming months. “

This comes after CD Project Red’s decision to postpone the next generation of updates to Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also for next year. The free updates and next-generation upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077 are set to be released in the first quarter of 2022 between January, February and March.
