A teenager has been arrested after a synagogue was marred by swastikas in north-west London.
Police were alerted to reports of a man spray-painting swastikas on the walls of a synagogue in Belsize Square, Camden, around 7.40pm on Saturday.
The officers arrived shortly after and began searching for the suspect.
They found a 16-year-old boy nearby shortly after noon. 20 and arrested him on suspicion of religiously aggravated criminal damage.
He has been remanded in custody.
Police said they also found other swastikas spray-painted on walls in the surrounding area.
Scotland Yard said an investigation is underway to determine if the same person is responsible.
