A serious crash that killed a man has shut down parts of the South Western Highway on Saturday, with motorists traveling down for the long weekend expected to experience delays.
Emergency services rushed to the crash site between Emu Rise and Blackwood Park Road in Hester Brook around 9.55am, and soon after closed parts of the busy highway.
Police have said the highway will remain closed for some time between Greenbushes townsite and Hester Road in Bridgetown.
“It is not known how long the road will remain closed for and motorists are advised to find alternative routes or expect lengthy delays,” a statement read.
More to come.
