My Hero Academia celebrates Halloween with special Toga art

My Hero Academia celebrates the spooky Halloween art with some special spooky art by Himiko Toga! It’s been a pretty big year for the franchise, as both anime and manga are winding down for some big events, and it’s been especially big for the villains. While the series’ heroes have gained the primary focus throughout most of the series, recent releases have shifted the focus to the villains and have finally given fans a deeper insight into how each of them works. It has been particularly eye-opening for Himiko Toga.

She used to be one of the most mysterious villains in the series so far, but starting with the My Villain Academia arch, fans got a chance to see even more into her past. Not only did the villain reach a new height of her own distinctiveness, but fans also got to see a bit of how she eventually became the villain we meet later. This has put Toga right in the spotlight, and the villain has taken the spotlight once again in a special art that the series has released to celebrate the Halloween holiday! Check it out below as shared via the anime’s official Twitter account:

It’s been a big year for the villains in both the anime and manga releases for the series. With this deeper look into Himiko Togas past and her uniqueness evolving as a result, fans are starting to see a little more of what she actually wants as part of the League of Villains. The league has evolved far beyond that, and that unfortunately means it’s been a while since we’ve seen Toga and how she’s been since the events of the Paranormal Liberation Front War. Fortunately, it doesn’t take much longer before all of this also hits the anime.

Anime is currently scheduled to return for its sixth season, but has not yet set a release window or date. What has been confirmed, however, is that the anime will take up the fight against the Paranormal Liberation Front War, so fans will get to see what happens to Toga along with the rest of the villains. Safe to sit, it is far less festive. But what do you think of this Halloween makeover for Toga? Tell us all your thoughts about it in the comments!
