Nashdale quad bike victim remains in critical condition: Police | Central Western Daily

A 77-year-old man is in critical condition at Westmead Hospital after being involved in a quad crash Thursday night. Emergency services were called to a property on Lake Canobolas Road around noon. The man, who was on his way back to his residence from a nearby company, was unconscious when he was found under the bike with witnesses lifting the bike off him. Police and four ambulance crews responded with paramedics working to stabilize the man before being taken to Westmead Hospital in Toll’s ambulance rescue helicopter. Police confirmed that surgery was performed on a skull fracture, possibly a broken arm and bruises on the brain. A spokesman for Westmead confirmed the man was critical
