Officials investigate fire in southeast DC – NBC4 Washington

First aiders put out a fire in southeast DC on Sunday that may have displaced some people, fire officials said.

The fire was reported on the 2300 block of Green Street SE at 6 p.m. 16:17. First aiders said they were able to confine the fire to an apartment at the terrace level and declared it under control.

It was not immediately revealed if anyone was injured. Investigators were on their way to the scene.
