Following a drop in cases in the last two weeks, Quebec has now reported more than 500 cases in each of the last three days.

Quebec reported more than 500 new COVID-19 cases for the third day in a row on a Sunday.

The 567 new infections saw the seven-day rolling average rise to 470 and the number of active cases rise to 4,342.
A total of 425,960 infections have now been confirmed in the province since the first was reported in February 2020.
Quebec also said another death had been attributed to the virus, totaling 11,494.
There were 236 patients in the hospital due to the virus, a net drop of eight. Of those, 62 were on intensive care, a decrease of five.
