UPDATE: Man located safe and sound

SUNDAY EVENING JULY 24 UPDATE: OPP REPORT MAN LOCATED IN GOOD CONDITION

A major search is underway northwest of Kingston for a 73-year-old male missing since Saturday, July 23, 2022.

Michael MacDonald was last seen about 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning when he left on foot from a residence on Moscow Road in Stone Mills Township.

MacDonald is described as approximately 5’10” and 150 pounds, short grey hair, glasses and clean shaven. He could be wearing a gold flannel plaid long sleeve shirt, green or blue undershirt and faded blue jeans. A photo is attached.

Lennox and Addington OPP has had a major search underway since yesterday, involving members of the L&A Detachment, the OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Aviation Unit and specially trained civilians with the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association.

The OPP is asking residents of the area to check their backyards, sheds and other outbuildings, as well as checking video from any residential security cameras they may have.
