Wolves told Manchester United transfer would be ‘fantastic’

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a loan move to Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek.

The 24-year-old has hardly had a kick in United since he signed for Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s team from the boys’ club Ajax for 35 million pounds last year.

He was on the fringes of the Red Devils squad before Cristiano Ronaldo’s surprise return, before the summer transfer window closed in August, and the Portugal legend’s arrival at Old Trafford for the second time has made any prospect of fighting much slimmer for van de. Beech.

Now it is claimed that van de Beek, who recently switched his agent to Ali Dursun, is wanted by United’s Premier League rivals Wolves and Everton.

Wolves wanted to strengthen in midfield before the summer transfer window closed, but head coach Bruno Lage was unable to get a deal with Lilles Renato Sanches over the line.

However, Lage’s team have not found it a match without winning four of their last six Premier League matches, and they are unbeaten in four matches ahead of Monday’s clash with Everton at Molineux.

Still, added firepower could boost Lage and Wolves from January, as they appear to be ending the season strongly.

And Wolves fans are all in for a move for van de Beek, who could benefit from a transfer that would give him a fresh start away from Old Trafford.

“I really hope the Wolves go all-in for van de Beek,” a supporter wrote on social media. “It would be great for him and the club.”

“I think van de Beek is out of our reach, but I would love to see Ruben Neves and van de Beek’s playing skills rank our midfield,” added another.

“I would love this, he’s a quality player,” said a third fan, while another added, “I doubt he would join us, but he would be a great signing.”

“I have said I want him in a Wolves jersey since he signed for United,” said a fifth Wolves supporter.
