BinGO MOVE is a social exercise group that meets every Monday at 11.00. It involves a fun interactive game where bingo numbers trigger an exercise or dance move. Activity suits all levels of abilities you can do sitting or standing as a suit. IPC Health currently runs via Zoom and also offers face-to-face groups in Hoppers Crossing when restrictions allow.

Volunteers are needed
The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Community Visitors Scheme is seeking female Maltese and Italian-speaking volunteers to participate in their volunteer program in the Werribee and Point Cook areas to visit elderly residents in either a nursing home or their own home. The scheme is also looking for a female volunteer with an understanding of MS to visit a mature lady at a geriatric care facility in Altona Meadows.

Lions Christmas Cakes
Werribee Lions are looking for businesses in the Wyndham area where they can sell Lions Christmas cakes up to the festive season to raise money for charity. They will start selling the cakes the last weekend in November and hope that local malls, businesses and other places will put their hands up to hold sales events. Lions will also be selling the cakes from their Lions Cave off Ballan Road (across from Edgar / Duke Streets) this Christmas weekend. Lions Christmas cakes are available in 1.5 kilogram ($ 17) and one kilogram ($ 13) sizes. The 900 gram pudding costs $ 13.

Community visitors
The Office of the Public Advocate is looking for volunteers in the Melton area to become community visitors who uphold the human rights of people with cognitive disabilities living in supported care. Visitors to the community monitor and report on the adequacy of the services provided to residents, talk to residents to identify issues of concern, and write a brief report at the end of the visit.
